Helleborus 'Josef Lemper'

Christmas Rose
Even earlier blooming than Helleborus 'Jacob', this hybrid selection of Helleborus niger can bloom as early as late October....yes, really. Compact 10" plants with pristine 3" white flowers with sweet yellow stamens should be in full view for the December holidays, continuing through the winter. It is happiest in a well drained soil in a protected spot from winter wind (perhaps near the entrance you use regularly…so you don't miss its sweet charm).
