For those of us who prefer the solid green form of Japanese Forest Grass, 'Beni Kaze' (translates to Red Wind) is named selection from Japan which takes on attractive red tones in the fall. It grows to a similar height and spread as do other Hakonechloa, about 18" x 18-24"
