Cold Hardy Perennials

Amsonia ciliata 'Halfway to Arkansas'

Blue Milkweed, Blue Star
This selection of Arkansas Blue Star, selected by Brent Horvath of Intrinsic Perennials, is more compact at 2' in height and up to 3' wide with pale blue flowers, but the same wonderful fine textured foliage that turns brilliant gold in autumn. Amsonia is one of the top perennials for colder climates for its long season of good looks and adaptability to soil types.
