Aster ageratoides 'Ezo Murasaki'

Japanese Aster
We've been told that this plant is now being classifed as Kalimeris, but in case, like us, you came to know this plant as an Aster, we are listing it as one. Our dear friend Margie Mott brought us this very late bloomer several years ago and we are ever thankful. From september through November, even here in New England, it provides a display of 1" violet daisies with yellow centers. Grows 18-24" tall and spreads to 24" or more.
