Anemone 'Dreaming Swan'

Anemone, Windflower
This lovely selection, from English nurserywoman Elizabeth McGregor, is a variation on 'Wild Swan', with slightly larger semi double flowers and slightly taller stature, with stems up to 2' tall. White petals have a slightly pink cast, and are reversed in lavender. Blooms begin in early summer and can continue into September, but plants prefer cooler temperatures and may slow down flower production in hot summer areas. Grow in a rich well drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Clumps grow to 2' across.
