We’re always on the lookout for succulents with dark foliage, and found this unnamed hybrid at a wholesale nursery. (In the world of succulents there are a lot of mislabeled plants, complicated by the fact that different genera cross promiscuously.) Our guess is that it is a cross between Aloe and perhaps a Gasteria/Haworthia hybrid.
It grows to 6″ tall and has mahogany brown textured foliage, (waiting for it to flower to give us a clue). Have a few to spare with those who are curious.
