Distinctive for its very dark foliage shoots in mid spring, this selection of Arkansas native Bluestar was discovered by Tony Avent and Hans Hansen in an Alabama woodland and introduced via Proven Winners. Trusses of sky blue flowers are born on contrasting dark stems in late spring. Plants grow to 2′ tall and 3′ wide and perform well in a wide range of conditions, but is best with 4-6 hours of sun.
