Description
Native to much of New England, Angelica atropurpurea is a biennial that is welcomed by many a pollinator. The second year purple tinted stalks reach great heights (4-8’+) and then produce green to white umbels in early-mid summer. Angelica atropurpurea enjoys a moist soil and is often found along stream beds. (Shipping first year plants for next year’s flowers).
