Description
This coral red/creamy yellow two-tone native Eastern Red Columbine, in bloom in early May, will signal to the returning hummingbirds that your garden is where the action is. Aquilegia canadensis naturalizes well in soil that has good drainage, but note that if you grow other species of Columbine it is apt to cross, resulting in an interesting array of colors and forms. Height varies from 1-3′.
