Description
This Midwest native, commonly called Prairie Indian Plantain is now somewhat threatened in its native habitat, but we can all try to help it prosper in our own gardens. Plants have leathery basal leaves and send up sturdy stalks (3-6′) bearing corymbs of white flowers in mid summer. Prefers a moist soil to look its best.
