White Swamp Milkweed doesn’t need to grow in wet soil; it is perfectly adaptable to average conditions. (But if you have clay soil, it will love your garden!) Clusters of small fragrant white blossoms on sturdy 3-4′ stems attract a host of bees and butterflies in mid summer. Stems exude a milky sap when cut.
