Description
This big boy is there for you to end the season with the blues. ‘Bill’s Big Blue’ can grow 4-5′ tall, but you can pinch him back in early July to keep growth more compact, if 5′ is just a bit too much. Unlike some asters, ‘Bill’s Big Blue’s foliage remains fairly unblemished all season. Clouds of medium blue daisies begin in October and carry on into November.
Note: The genus Aster has been reclassified into several genera…technically Bill’s Big Blue’ should be listed as Symphyotrichum, but we want to keep things easy here.
