Description
Originally purchased from Heronswood Nursery decades ago, this Clematis has persisted better than most. It sports rich bronze purple foliage in the spring, and come May, clusters of white flowers add to its charm. It doesn’t climb: instead, if given a support like a tomato cage, it will stand 4-6′ tall. Otherwise, it will informally sprawl once the weight of the white flowers becomes a bit much.
Exposure: Sun/Part Shade
