Description
Native to the Midwest, Pale Coneflower is a midsummer bloomer with 2-3′ stems bearing large coned daisies with dangling reflexed white to pale pink petals. Dramatic for planting en masse as a pollinator heaven. In Mt. Cuba’s Trial Garden, ‘Hula Dancer’, a seed strain from Jelitto Seed, has proven to be the winner over the species for attracting pollinators. Grow in a fertile well drained soil in full sun.
