Description
Echinaea paradoxa is a somewhat rare species found in the Ozarks, and is a more modest grower than Echinacea purpurea. It develops a deep tap root, so it’s best to site carefully. We purchased the seed strain from Jelitto in 2021 … paradoxa var paradoxa, and are still trying to figure out how it differs … anyone know? Plants grow 2-3′ tall and prefer medium to dry soil conditions.
