Description

Formerly known as Tweedia oxypetalum, this powder blue colored form of Milkweed is native to tropical Brazil and Uruguay. The 5 petaled blossoms are coveted as a cut flower. Plants have velvety gray green leaves, typical milkweed pods and grow to 18″ the first season and to 2-3′ where hardy or if wintered over indoors.
