Description
This is the common cowslip of the English countryside, blooming in mid-late spring with golden yellow nodding bells on 8-10″ stems. This sweet primrose enjoys a soil that has good drainage but has a regular source of moisture. Semi evergreen in mild winters. Pollinators seek out their bells, and deer and rabbits don’t find them appetizing. Very happy with just a half day of sunshine.
