Description
A less common form of Arctic Willow, with pendulous stems clothed in linear blue green leaves. In winter the bare stems take on purple tones. This shrub is versatile: it can be cut back hard in the spring to encourage low mounded shape, left to grow tall (it will reach 8′), or pruned to a single leader and allowed to be a mini weeping willow. Super hardy, it’s a good plant for soils that stay wet in winter. Larger sizes also available for nursery pickup.
