Salvia x ‘Phyllis Fancy’



Available May 1. Sages are known for their attractiveness to butterflies, bees and hummingbirds and this one is no exception. Distinctive for its wands of fuzzy lavender/white flowers encased in deeper purple calyces, this hybrid of Salvias leucantha and chiapensis blooms earlier and longer, from late summer into fall blooming. Expect a plant 3′ tall x 3′ wide the first season. Where hardy it can reach 4-5′ tall, and wide. Loves sunshine and well drained soil.
