Description
Rosinweed. This species of Silphium has large 10-15″ basal leaves that give rise to 3-5′ stems bearing soft yellow daisies in the second half of summer into fall. This Sllphium will grow in average to dry gravelly soil and the flowers provide nourishment for pollinators and birds.
