How can you not love this sweet butterfly attracting aster relative, native to the southern US but hardy in zones 5-9. Soft yellow 2.5-4″ many petaled blossoms appear in late June and if deadheaded regularly will continue for a while… we still have some blooming at the end of August. Plants grow 12″ tall, and like a soil that drains well but has enough moisture during the growing season. Great for front of the border all summer color!
