Description
Hoary Vervain is a pollinator friendly native that sends up wands of tiny, tubular blue-violet flowers on 2-4′ stems, opening first from the base of the stalk and then on up. It is tolerant of dryer conditions. Blooms for us in June and then continues most of the summer. Bees and butterflies enjoy its pollen and songbirds love the seeds.
