(THAT WAS FAST…JUST SOLD OUT UNTIL SEPTEMBER). We’ve had this tall growing Ironweed in our garden for decades. Sturdy 6′ +stems are topped with clusters of deep purple flowers in September, which attract Monarchs and bees in the early autumn light. Vernonia enjoy a moist soil, but well drained soil.
