Description
Kentucky native, Wisteria macrostachys, is a sturdy climber with pendulous clusters of lavender blue pea flowers in late spring with occasional flushes summer into fall. Use a sturdy wall or structure to support this vine that can reach 20’+. Sturdy trunks will develop over time and plants can be trained into standards with lots of pruning.
