Drought Tolerant Shrubs

Daphne x 'Eternal Fragrance'

This recent hybrid boasts a never ending succession of white blushed pink fragrant blossoms beginning in late May and continuing into the gall. Foliage is a handsome and evergreen in mild winter climates. 'Etrnal Fragrance' grows fro a rounded shrub of 3.5' x 3.5'. Daphne have a reputation of being persnickety…but we've found if you plant them in well drained spoil with a handful of dolomitic limestone, and do not overwater, they thrive on neglect. (Do water too establish the first year!!!) Plants resent growing in pots or being transplanted; get your Daphne in the ground, without delay. BTW, Deer do not like Daphne!
