New Shrubs

Vitex agnus-castus 'Shoal Creek'

Chaste Tree
A superb selection with full, deep blue flower spikes forming an attractive medium shrub in the North, but can become tree-like in the South. We were really impressed how well plants wintered over after the pretty cold winter of '17-18. Bold 12"-18" fragrant, clear-blue flower spikes in mid to late summer. Cut back hard to encourage bushy-ness and to remove winter dieback. in milder climates plants can get quite large (7-12'), but in zones 6 and 7 expect a height and width of about 6-7' if it doesn't get winter kill. Shipping bulky qt pots.
